Welcome to the Blog!

Blog? - it's short for web log.

We've set up this site to encourage arts marketers to share in open discussion. I (John Copeland) will serve as moderator where we will post news, encourage conversation and hopefully be able to pass along some valuable information.

Let me know what you think - and check back for updates!

Ummm...maybe I am missing something...but isn't the point of a blog to write & post ideas on a somewhat regular basis?

One post that's a month old isn't much of a blog.

I'll clarify what I said above. A blog is typically authored by a single individual who contributes a continuous stream of ideas on a particular theme.

If your goal is to get others to come here and post ideas, then in reality, you are hosting a message board.

Which is it? If it's a blog, then make it a blog. Give us something to read and chew on. If it's a message board, then you might need to rethink how you position this resource.

It's great to come across more and more refreshingly accessible drama blogs on the world wide web.

Theatre blogs are few and far between, compared with movie release blogs, or music blogs, for instance, which is a great shame.

Here in the United Kingdom, there is a major revival in Dario Fo-style satirical drama. The United Kingdom’s “Komedy Kollective Theatre Company” are carefully crafting an upbeat and funky big-stage comedy horror theatre musical with meaningful political subplot about an unpopular British prime minister seeking re-election, called Restart, which will be finished in the near future, and ready for national and international touring.

If any theatre lovers reading this, would wish to find out more, our web address is: -

Bye for now,
